Forest Gate Community School

Geography

Geography explores the way the world works, its people and places, and natural environments. Students develop an appreciation of their world, and acquire many powerful transferable skills in information collection, analysis and interpretation.

In Year 7, students study map and atlas skills, the local area, and rivers and flooding. Locally-based fieldwork is an important part of Key Stage 3 geography.

At KS4, students can opt to take a Geography GCSE..
