A very large team of teachers and teaching assistants works with students who require additional help to access the curriculum. This could be due to physical difficulties, or additional learning challenges with literacy, concentration or language processing.
The team undertakes small group activities and registration time literacy teaching sessions, as well as the regular assessment and monitoring of students on the SEN register. From time to time, SEN teachers work with external experts such as speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, or educational psychologists.
